THE PRAYER INTENTIONS OF THE REGNUM CHRISTI FOUNDATION

October – November – December, 2026

One night, the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision: “Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, and do not be silent! I am with you, and no one will attack or harm you, because I have many people in this city.” So Paul stayed there for a year and a half, teaching the word of God among the people.

1 John 4:1–4

♥ “God’s Answer to Life’s Great Challenges” Course – Târgu Mureș

Participant 1:
During the course, I realized that my emotions had a great influence on me and that I was making decisions based on how I felt. When I didn’t feel like praying, I simply didn’t pray. When I felt that I didn’t want to talk to anyone, I didn’t talk to anyone. As a result, I became isolated, and after a while, I didn’t feel like doing anything at all. In this way, I lost my relationships—first and foremost, my relationship with God, and then with my family members as well. Therefore, I am going to strive not to make decisions based on my emotions, but to listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I want to develop a closer relationship with Jesus and invite Him into every area of my life—even into those areas where I previously thought it would be foolish to do so. But He knows everything about me anyway. What I have done so far is not enough; I need to invite Him into every part of my life. I want to walk with Him. During the course, I also understood that I can say no to any negative feeling and therefore avoid falling into the trap of acting according to my emotions.

I am deeply grateful to God for everything He has planted in my heart.

Participant 2:
What became most clear to me during the course was that without a prayer life, there can be no relationship with Jesus, and I had been neglecting my prayer life quite a bit lately.

The other thing I came to understand is that no matter what situation we are in or what difficulties come into our lives, we must keep our eyes on Jesus and always come out to Him from the cave of self-pity, whether that self-pity is caused by fear, anxiety, disappointment, failure, rejection, or anything else.

First and foremost, I need to keep my thoughts under control, because they can easily lead me in the wrong direction. I understood that whenever I face any situation, I need to stand firm in my faith and focus only on Jesus. I also need to apply what I have learned during the course, and through this, I can experience true freedom.

♥ Discernment Course – Târgu Mureș

Participant 1:
During the course, I understood that even a small opening is enough for the enemy to gain a foothold in my life and then seek greater and greater control. This is one of the enemy’s tactics. One such small opening in my life was, for example, becoming overconfident, which can become destructive in the long run. I recognized that this overconfidence had begun to show itself in my ministry of worship. After leading worship, I would often receive praise, and sometimes I would say, “Glory to God for everything,” but deep down, a little “steam” would still rise within me, making me think, “I really am pretty good at this.” Even though I knew very well that God had been working in me for many years to enable me to serve in worship.

After the course, I feel the need to wholeheartedly give all the glory back to God before I become overconfident, self-important, and proud.

Another thing that was new to me was learning that I should not make decisions when I am in a state of desolation, and that when I have made a decision during a time of consolation, I should not abandon that decision during a time of desolation.

Participant 2:
I understood that a troubled conscience can be the Holy Spirit’s gentle, tender work within us. I became aware that the Holy Spirit never, ever forces us, but gently speaks to our conscience and brings conviction. I also understood that Satan has no face and that he enters through little loopholes that I don’t consider significant. By the time I realize what is happening, I have already fallen into desolation.

I came to understand that everything that is negative—bad feelings, fear, anxiety, and so on—comes from the evil one, and that I need to resist it and fight against it. I also became aware that if I seek God’s will, receive the sacraments, and sincerely strive to follow God’s will, then I am not a hardened sinner.

Something that was new to me was that when I hit rock bottom, instead of complaining that I have fallen again and feeling sorry for myself, I should remember that I am a soldier of Christ. I need to fight and get back up again and again.

The intellectual-emotional method of discernment resonated with me the most, but the last two methods were also very powerful for me. When I imagined myself standing before God’s judgment seat, I was able to make decisions about my questions in an instant. Everything was put into a different perspective when I imagined myself standing before God’s judgment seat.

We Make Plans and Prepare Programs…

♥ The Philip Course will take place in Târgu Mureș from October 23–25.

The course helps lay the foundations of our faith and seeks to answer the following questions:

What is the meaning of life? If God exists and loves us, why is there so much suffering, trouble, and selfishness in the world? How can I overcome my temptations? How can I live a truly happy Christian life? How can I maintain a personal and trusting relationship with God?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
